a subsidy to an Indonesian painter Hasan Djafaar to finance traveling and accommodation to and from Holland in connection with his complete works in the Volkenkundig ( Ethnological ) Museum Nusantara in Delft;

a subsidy to an Indonesian scientific staff member of the Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) for traveling and accommodation in connection with his appointment as Research Fellow at the University of Twente. This appointment was based on a long term co-operation project between the University of Twente and the ITB in the field of applied mathematics;

a subsidy to two scientific researchers ( one of Indonesian and one of Dutch origin) to attend and contribute to a seminar in Semarang about the narrative traditions in the socio-cultural context of modern Indonesia, in particular about the Dairi Pakpak narrative skills in North Sumatra;

a subsidy to a Dutch scientific researcher in support of his efforts for ecological protection of the Moluccan Islands and later of Irian Jaya. In 2001 an expedition under his guidance rediscovered in Irian Jaya the alledgedlly extinct Bruins bushfowl.

Applications for a financial contribution must be presented in writing to the Secretary of the Foundation along the lines indicated on the page “ Criteria and Conditions “. The applicant  will be informed in writing of the Board’s decision within one month of reception of the application.
